How Does the Audi A4 Windscreen Wiper Motor Work?

The electric motor is connected to the vehicle’s power supply and operates the wiper system. To move the wiper arms across the windscreen, a worm gear mechanism is commonly used.
For the wiper blades to move smoothly, the wiper motor rotates in a continuous clockwise motion. Each windscreen wiper requires its own motor to function correctly.
In most modern vehicles, windscreen wipers operate in a parallel movement, although some manufacturers design systems where the wipers move in opposite directions.
The wiper motor is mounted to the header panel located above the windscreen within the vehicle.
